China Delegation Attended 2019 Crowe Global Asia Pacific Regional Conference

From March 26th to March 27th, 2019, Crowe Global held the 2019 Asia Pacific Regional Conference in Tokyo, Japan. 122 delegates from 25 countries attended the meeting. Mr. Jiantao Yang, Co-Chairman of Crowe Global, Party Committee Secretary of Crowe China Certified Public Accountants (“Ruihua CPAs”), and Chairman of Ruihua Group, delivered the opening speech on behalf of Crowe Global. Mr. Ronghua Yang, Managing Partner and Management Committee member of Ruihua CPAs, led China delegation to attend the conference, and addressed a speech on China.
On March 26th, breakout sessions of accounting and audit, tax, risk and outsourcing were held simultaneously. Representatives from Ruihua CPAs attended the breakout sessions accordingly, learning about the updates on different service areas, and communicating closely with other delegates.
In the morning of March 27th, Crowe Global 2019 Asia Pacific Conference, with the theme of “Go”, was officially launched, aiming to further promote the strategy of the Network. The Asia Pacific Regional Director Mr. Mok Yuen Lok hosted the conference and introduced the agenda. Later on, Mr. Jiantao Yang delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the Network, congratulating the achievements of Crowe Global in the Asia Pacific Region. He also called for closer cooperation among member firms for a promising future, and wished the conference a great success. After that, Crowe Global CEO Mr. David Mellor delivered a keynote speech and reported on global updates. He also announced the establishment of China Marketing Center in Beijing to further strengthen the promotion of “Crowe” in China and expand cross-border business in local market. The Global Marketing Director Ms. Lynda Dupont-Blackshaw delivered a speech on “Use Social Media and Thought Leadership to Build Our Brand”, using vivid cases to demonstrate the important role of social media on effective brand promotion. In the part of “Cross Border Collaboration at Work”, Mr. Ronghua Yang introduced the updates on Ruihua Group and emphasized the significant role of the China Marketing Center. Ms. Helen Wang, International Business Partner from Beijing Office, delivered a speech entitled “Cooperate with Ruihua, Win Clients from State-Owned Enterprises”. Marketing Manager from the Crowe Global China Marketing Center, Ms. Yaxi Ju, reported the updates on the China Marketing Center.
In the afternoon of March 27th, Global Brand & Technology Director Ms. Veronica Vicente addressed a speech on “How We Engage with the Network”, and she introduced the functional modules on member portal. Crowe Global CEO Mr. David Mellor led the open dialogue and round table discussion of the Strategic Planning Task Force, which received heated discussion with the delegates on how to action our steps moving forward. Subsequently, Mr. Robin Speculand, Strategy Implementation Specialist, International Bestselling Author, delivered a speech on “Implementing Strategy in a Digitally Disruptive World”. Later on, Board Member of the International Accounting Standards Mr. Takatsugu Ochi introduced the updates on IFRS. Finally, the Asia Pacific Regional Director Mr. Mok Yuen Lok made closing remarks and the conference ended on a happy note.
In the evening of March 27th, the organizer held a warm Networking Drink and Appreciation Dinner, which was joined by key clients, partners, staff of Crowe Japan; about 200 people attended the dinner. After a dynamic Japanese Taiko Drums, Crowe Global CEO David expressed his sincere appreciation to all the clients and colleagues for their support to Crowe Japan and global development. He called for joint effort with all the clients and colleagues to move forward and achieve win-win.
During the conference, in the afternoon of March 26th, Mr. Jiantao Yang, Mr. Ronghua Yang and the CEO of Ruihua Consulting Company Mr. Hongbin An had meetings with representatives from Crowe Poland, Crowe Expertiza and Crowe Africa Infrastructure respectively, in which, participants briefed on recent updates of their firms, and further communicated on potential cooperation.
